Beautiful and quaint, Antibes seems the quintessential French seaside town. Thus far it has been our favorite stop. There is a Picasso museum here although we did not go.

Dinner at Le Migrainier - the best so far. Margret duck with a wine reduction sauce as only the French can do. The dish was served with a variety of potatoes and legumes. When I asked about a salad, our feisty server said no, no salad, the chef is an artist it is perfect as is. And so it was. And yes it was the only one they had that night—sorry, not sorry to the other patrons. The establishment itself is on a side street and very tiny. They have what they have listed on a blackboard and when the dishes are gone, well, c’est la vie.

We spent two beautiful days in Antibes, we may very well be back again some day.
